Bouquet in Bloom by Gentle Monster, Starring FKA twigs

By FML

Gentle Monster’s 2026 Bouquet Collection feels less like eyewear and more like a living organism. It moves, stretches, and breathes with an intensity that is both sensual and electric. Co-directed by FKA twigs and Jordan Hemingway, the campaign transforms the moment of a floral bloom into performance. Twigs becomes the bloom, her body contracting, erupting, and flowing, echoing the fluidity of the collection itself. Set to an unreleased track by twigs, the film dissolves boundaries between sound, movement, and design, creating a language entirely its own.

The collection does not mimic florals but interprets transformation. Frames curve and layer like petals in motion, asymmetrical yet graceful. Rounded silhouettes suggest natural growth, while unexpected proportions make each piece feel sculpted rather than assembled. Materials shift from glossy acetates to translucent surfaces, catching light like morning dew, while colors traverse deep, bud-like neutrals to iridescent sheens that change under the sun. Every detail feels alive, as if the eyewear itself is unfolding in real time.

Bouquet exists at the crossroads of fashion, performance, and installation. Gentle Monster extends the vision beyond the lens of the camera, creating immersive pop-up environments that let visitors step inside the world of the collection. Each space is a fully realized blossom ecosystem, turning retail into experience and inviting the audience to feel the collection rather than simply observe it.

Launching January 16, seven pop-ups worldwide invite audiences into this universe, with locations spanning New York, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo, and Bangkok. In every city, visitors encounter a space that feels at once organic and otherworldly, reflecting Gentle Monster’s signature blend of futurism and nature.

The Bouquet Collection continues Gentle Monster’s mission to dissolve the line between object and emotion, product and performance. Eyewear becomes a state of becoming, expanding into sound, movement, and space, and reminding us that fashion can bloom as boldly as living florals.
